Coffee doesn’t have to be complicated while camping! Easy ways to enjoy camping on your next camping trip!
Camping coffee can be a lot of things! We would love to share our favorite way to make coffee while camping, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
When we go camping, coffee is always on the to-do list. There’s just something about waking up in nature that makes us want coffee. No matter what time you wake up, whether it’s early morning or middle of the night, coffee will become your best friend during those first few moments.
Either before bed or before packing for your trip, make sure to pick up one thing: a way to make coffee. This may not be an item everyone brings with them on their next outdoor adventure, but trust us when we say it will change your life.
It doesn’t have to be complicated either! You can start super simple and work your way up to what is most enjoyable to you!
When we go camping, coffee is a must. These are the coffee setups that we enjoy most!
The French Press coffee maker is our favorite! The coffee tastes amazing and can be made quickly over a fire. All you will need is a coffee press, coffee filters, and coffee grounds.
Check out this classic Stanley French Press for your next camping trip!
One of the best parts about using this coffee maker while camping is it’s easy to pack up after use and toss right in your bag or storage box. It doesn’t take up too much room, so find somewhere nice to keep it for later use at home or on another adventure! To make this coffee, you simply heat some water put it in your desired amount of coffee grounds (we tend just to dump it in, you can never have too much, right!?)
If you are looking for coffee that is a bit smoother and doesn’t have as much caffeine, try making coffee using a pour-over camping coffee maker! The coffee will still taste great and is very easy to make. All you will need is a coffee filter, coffee grounds, a mug, and water! Simply spoon the desired amount of coffee into your filter and place it on your mug.
Once everything is set up, boil some water and let it sit for about 30 seconds. Pour the hot water on top of the coffee until your container is full.
You can also buy disposable pour-over coffee filters! This is super easy while car camping or backpacking! Copper Cow Coffee is by far our favorite, as it comes with condensed milk! Kuju Coffee is also pretty damn good!
Instant coffee has come ALONG ways! And we’ve tried our fair share that is for sure! Our favorite so far is Alpine Start! They are more eco-friendly too with the 30 cup container! Preparation is just like making hot chocolate! Super easy!
