5 Unique and Remote Cabins in Wisconsin
If you’re looking for an adventure-filled vacation, look no further than Wisconsin! From hiking and biking to fishing and kayaking, there’s something for everyone in the great outdoors. And what better way to experience all that Wisconsin has to offer than by staying in a remote cabin? Here are five of the most unique and remote cabins in the state.
The Water Villa in Richland Center, Wisconsin
Located near the Mill Creek Cabins, this gives a beautiful view of the countryside nestled right into the trees! Imagine you wake up on a beautiful winter Wisconsin Day to light, fluffy snowflakes falling! You can watch them while drinking hot chocolate with your love or dear friends! All while bundled up in a blanket in front of the stove!
Nordlys Lodging Co. – LongHouse
A beautiful mid-century modern show that will have you sitting in the trees! Cook dinner in the kitchen while you watch the snow blow outside the floor-to-ceiling windows! Cuddle up outside or inside with a warm fire!
Off the Grid Inn Tiny House in Fall Creek, Wisconsin
This amazing little tiny house is perfect for getting away from it all! Fall asleep watching the snow fall! While waking up with a hot cup of coffee with the snow falling right outside! This is luxury at its finest!
Castle Rock Boho A-frame Cabin. 25 min to Dells
I have a love affair with A-Frame cabins, so this one HAS to be on the list! An adorable cabin where you can relax and not worry about being too far away from things to do! In a short drive, you can get to good restaurants and activities!
Back Roads Cabin Retreat
This remote cabin in Amish Country is one of our favorites! There is no running water or electricity, and the toilet is an outhouse. We would wash our dishes by lantern and stoke the fire to stay warm! We brought our camp stove to cook over, which was simply amazing! We cannot wait to go back!
Just be careful if you do not have 4WD, and it’s a snowy winter!
