ANXIOUS PEOPLE by Fredrick Backman

This book by the ever-amazing author of “A Man Called Ove” is a book that I simply love and everyone needs to read!

The book brief: “A poignant comedy about a crime that never took place, a would-be bank robber who disappears into thin air, and eight extremely anxious strangers.”

I couldn’t help but think this is a book written by someone that LOVES word problems in school! The way it’s written makes you want to keep reading, so you know how it all comes together.

I also love when books are written from different characters’ points of view; it makes sitting so much more enjoyable—allowing the characters more depth throughout!

My Rating: 4/5

THE LOVE HYPOTHESIS by Ali Hazelwood

The book brief: As a third-year Ph.D. candidate, Olive Smith doesn’t believe in lasting romantic relationships–but her best friend does, which got her into this situation. “Fake Dating” someone in her school!

A modern love story that is super cute and would make a great movie! I knew what would happen, as most love stories have the same map. But I wanted to keep reading to see their love blossom! The only thing it could have done without is the “50 Shades of Grey Chapter” seemed super strange with the rest of the book.

My Rating: 4.5/5

THE MIDNIGHT LIBRARY by Matt Haig

The book brief: Between life and death, there is a library, and the shelves go on forever within that library. Every book provides a chance to try another life you could have lived.

If you are looking for a philosophical book to read, this is it. I loved how the author thought about what happens when we die. I am someone who thinks we live multiple lives, and this was a good read!
It got a little wordy and much for me – which honestly caused me to skip a few pages.

My Rating: 2/5

WHAT AM I CURRENTLY READING?

THE PARIS APARTMENT by Lucy Foley

I wanted something different and mysteries are my favorite! Because you don’t know what going to happen, you are always trying to guess!
