This is one of our favorite weekends in Madison! The Taste of Madison!

What is the Taste of Madison!?

It’s an amazing event that is held around the capitol square on the last weekend in August! There are food vendors on every street, beer tents on every other corner and 3 band stages!

Before we moved to Madison we came down, booked a hotel room and ate all day! All while drinking beer on the lawn of the capital! It is pretty freaking amazing!

What are our must stop and eat places at the Taste of Madison!?

There are so many new places this year, I am bummed we won’t be there! As we have TWO weddings this weekend! BUT, both of our weddings will have a taco truck – so that totally makes up for it! El Grito Taco truck to be exact! My favorite taco truck by far! If you don’t know by now, I am a major taco lover! Justin loves burritos as it’s more food. But, I can eat almost every kind of taco there is! I make breakfast tacos all the time at home!

If you are looking for something to do this weekend, the Taste of Madison is a MUST!

Eat, drink & take a nap on the capital lawn! Seriously, we do every year! The Taste of Madison is kid-friendly, a great event for the whole family! It can get a little crowded so just keep an eye on your little ones.
