Practical Apartment Essentials You Need right now!
Apartment living has its pros and cons of course! We’ve lived in our fair share of apartments the past eleven years! Living in small quarters, noisy neighbors and neighbors cooking all sorts of foods. These apartment essentials have helped to live anywhere AMAZING!
LEVOIT Air Purifier
This is something we cannot EVER go without! We’ve had neighbors who’ve smoked and have cooked SUPER smelly meals! Not to mention our own meals! Most apartment oven hoods don’t go outside, so the smell just stays inside. A for sure Apartment Essential!
This even helps us dust less, and keep our cats fur under control. Even if just a little bit!
These are a must for small home living, anyone who loves to cook and has pets! Or even if your allergies are BAD!
I found this years ago during a massive forest fire. These are what helped families breathe better in their homes.
Wall Storage with Hooks
Most entries of apartments open up to the kitchen, hooks like these are perfect! These hooks are multi purpose, great for coats, masks, keys, and brooms.
Our current apartment is lacking in closets or storage. A hook like this right by the door holds our mail, masks for easy on the go grabs, our broom and swiffer, along with a lint roller! Along, with a great place to put small things that you use daily, like pens to mark the calendar.
I have seen a few different ways to do this, but this way is by far the most versatile and beautiful!
This was a must when we moved into our current apartment! There is an amazing built in that we use for our dishes. The shelves were a little groose, so we cleaned them out and put some marble contact paper down. It looks amazing and SUPER easy to clean!
I am planning on using this to make a “backsplash” too! It doesn’t supers stick, so it’s easy to remove. I tested this by the stove and will be adding a half wall there too. Easy to clean! YAY!
Woven Seagrass Wicker Basket
People forget Apartment Essentials for their bathroom! Bathrooms in most apartments don’t have a lot of floor space. I wanted to have a laundry basket in the bathroom, but the plastic ones take up so much room. Not to mention they aren’t cute at all!
I wanted to find a cute basket that wasn’t too expensive. These wicker baskets are perfect! They look great and can be used anywhere in the apartment.
I have these everywhere! In my office, I use them as a garbage and recycling bin. They are also homes to a few plants! They add so much texture to your apartment!
