COMPLETE CAMPING CHECKLIST

OUR COMPLETE CAR CAMPING CHECKLIST!

I always make lists before packing for anything! The last thing we all want is to get somewhere and have to buy something we forgot. This is my master camping checklist!

REMEMBER: This is what we bring with a few optional things we haven’t purchased yet. You DO NOT need the best of everything!

I have made sure this checklist is interactive so you can come back to it each time and click the check when you got it packed! I will also tell you how I pack all this and what we do when we get home after a trip! Organization is key to a relaxing camping trip!

HOW DO WE PACK EVERYTHING?

We put all our kitchen supplies in a clear storage tub with a lid! This way it stays organized in the car and easy to bring to the campsite from the car. I like the clear ones so I can see which tub it is. Of course, you can totally label each bin!

We put all our food in the storage bin or some crates for easy use! We used to use bags but they didn’t stay as organized.

HOW DO WE PACK THE CAR?

Food and coolers as close to the front seats as possible! This way you can reach back without stopping for a drink or snack! Always cover your food and cooler with a blanket to keep it cool.

Towards the back will be your camping supplies! If we are traveling to different locations we rarely roll our sleeping bags back up! They just get folded and thrown back in the car!

The tarp we use as a tent footprint is folded up and and put into the box on top of my X-Terra! This is also where we store our musty and much too dirty dish clothes and wet shoes/boots.

WHERE TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES?

You don’t need to spend a lot at first, work you way up to better supplies! We currently use a tent we bought for under $50 from Fleet Farm. It works great and we’ve flown with it multiple times.

Where I suggest going?

I will be writing a full post about our persona gear and what we use too! If you can’t find it just type in the SEARCH BAR – CAMPING! This will bring you to all our camping blogs!
